We participated in the third Congress of Recyclable Monomaterial Packaging Solutions, held in Rotterdam on July 4th and 5th. There we have been part of a panel of packaging supply chain experts and have been able to share the innovations and challenges we face when offering monomaterial packaging while maintaining product quality.
During the congress, our colleague Almudena Domínguez presented our sustainable polyolefin solutions for the ecodesign of flexible packaging. In the presentation, she delivered our circular economy strategy to achieve net zero emissions by 2050, the Repsol Reciclex® range of certified circular polymers, which are produced using plastic waste as raw material, and our solutions for the packaging industry, which integrate the principles of ecodesign, such as our Repsol Resistex® range, a highly versatile product that can be used for food film in food packaging applications or for industrial packaging used to shrink-wrap pallets
