Supporting the 2030 agenda and contributing to the 17 SDGs
At Repsol, we are aligned with the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and contribute to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
The 2030 Agenda highlights the need to promote the partnerships needed between different public-private entities that help to find solutions and best practices to achieve the 17 goals. These goals address economic growth, social inclusion, and environmental protection.
For the first time, there is participation from the private sector as a key component to achieving each of the goals. And this is our role as a multi-energy company.
This is a course/series of information clips designed as a fictitious social network aimed at exploring the SDGs and showing examples of how Repsol contributes to the 17 SDGs. This helps to learn what the 2030 agenda is and how Repsol contributes to it.
“The Sustainable Development Goals must be understood as an opportunity for more responsible business, which promotes innovation and technology as essential tools to respond to the energy transition and require collaboration from the multiple actors involved in this shared effort in society.”
Josu Jon Imaz
Repsol CEO
“Our contribution to achieving the SDGs is one of the components that will allow society to see that we are part of the solution to the energy, economic, and social challenges we are facing.”
Mariano Marzo
Chairman of the Repsol Sustainability Committee
