Preserve biodiversity in the regions we are present, and support local development initiatives for the communities dependent on the assets in which we operate that avoid or minimize the negative impacts of the energy transition.
Promote local hiring and help drive the decarbonization of the supply chain. Moreover, work together with educational institutions to develop the necessary skills.
Community development
We work in partnership with international organizations such as the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) to carry out social investment projects that improve the quality of life of local communities.
Each year, we carry out more than 400 social investment projects in the different countries where we operate, investing around 50 million euros. By 2022, 3.2 million people had benefited from these projects, and our goal for 2025 is to benefit more than 10 million people through social investment projects.
